Designed by Rolf Magnusson built in Sweden 1973. Intended for the Half Ton Class but has never been raced by me or the original owner. Described as “the last of the pretty boats” it is a fast reliable strongly built 30ft cruiser with six berths, double berth in the fore cabin, two single bunks in main cabin and two pilot berths. Folding table also fits cockpit.
The boat is ashore at D R B Marine, Rosneath on the Gare Loch, rigged and antifouled ready to launch
Sails include NH main with two slab reefs and zipped boom cover, Tri radial genoa with padded luff and roller reefing, tri radial spinnaker with boom set up for easy jibe having two downhauls to cockpit.
A Beta 722 20hp engine was fitted in 2006 with a folding prop.
The boat is on a four wheel trailer which would need attention before using on public roads. Tyres appear o k but break rods and pillar under bow need replaced.
.
Rigging is set up for two man crew with all running rigging led to cockpit including two slab reefing positions. In addition to the spray hood there is a cockpit cover which folds on to the hood.
